I've recently switched to the Verizon Internet Security Suite, and am attempting to configure the firewall to allow me to play an MMO over the internet.
I "Allowed" the appropriate programs in the Firewall software, but am still getting packets blocked. I view the log, and see what port is being blocked, and can create a rule to allow that port. However, due to the nature of the MMO, there are about 100 ports that may be used, and I can't figure out how to allow a range of ports in one rule. Am I missing something, or do I really need to create over a hundred rules for this one game?
If it helps at all, the games Support pages dealing with firewalls state:
If you are running Norton™, McAfee®, ZoneAlarm®, or another software firewall, make sure that both cohupdater.exe and cityofheroes.exe are added as trusted programs with full access to the Internet. While all security applications work on a different interface, most of them have a Programs or Internet Applications section to configure program access. You might also try adjusting the Security setting within the firewall settings. Lowering this setting to Medium or Low will often clear up connection issues.

and
All of these ports:
TCP 2104
TCP 2106
UDP 7000-7100
One of the following ports:
TCP 6994 or TCP 13094 or TCP 23094
These ports must be fully unrestricted and accessible inbound and out.

Thank you for any assistance (even if it's just to say I'm out of luck).
