DSL monthly rate

I am a DSL user for which I pay $21.99/month. The internet offer for the same service is $17.99/month. So I called Verizon to find out if I could the reduced rate. Believe me I was given a run around for about 2 hours. Got the same recording multiple times and still could not get an answe on what I need to do to get the reduced rate. Any body has any suggestions. I do not want to call 800 567 6789. It just does not work.

I have a number for you to call it is for the Verizon Broadband Executive Offices 1-866-848-7700. Call them and tell them your problem, they helped me .

Hello,

I doubt you will be able to get a lower rate until your present agreement expires. However, if your speed is presently 768k, you can get a free upgrade to the new DSL entry speed of 1M. How long is your present agreement, 1yr or 2?
