Since being installed in May, our ONT box completely shuts off about once a week, never at the same time. Sometimes for an hour, sometimes for days...we never know. Box always eventually goes back on by itself. Rebooting from verizon never helps. A thousand phone calls and techs later, there's nothing that can be done...seems to be an electric issue. (All the lights in box go out, box was replaced but same happens.) I assumed it was some type of brown out, but nothing else is effected in house, and plugging into different socket doesn't help. We can't live like this...we need phones. Can we switch back to nonFIOS phone, and if not, are we doomed? Can a bad phone make this happen to the box? (Doesn't make sense, right?) Any input is greatly appreciated.
