My FIOS landline service has very low volume. Also, on corded (traditional) phones, when I answer a call there is no audio. Cordeless phones seem OK. What can be done about this?
Is the same issue present at your ONT's test jack? You can try giving the ONT a reboot by removing AC Power and Disconnecting the battery, and then bringing back power in the opposite direction (Battery, then AC) if the calls are still quiet at the test jack.
