You may want to look into a backup plan for internet access such as using your phone as a wifi hot spot. Air cards are another alternative but can get costly very quickly. Do you have the option to go to FIOS? If you are not close to the central office, and the if the phone lines to the CO are old; troubles with DSL may be unavoidable.
Fios not an option nor is hotspot or air card. They wont work with her system.
