Why no NBC Sports Extra?

I was assured, before signing up, that these channels are carried. When I looked for them today, the first day of the new EPL Soccer season, I find that I was lied to. If every other carrier provides these free channels, why doesn't FiOS? I know others have complained about this since this time last year (wish I'd known that before signing up).

So what can I do to get FiOS to get with the program?

Huh?

NBC Sports Extra works fine for me after authenticating with my Verizon id. Do you not have a package that includes NBC Sports?

It is coming soon... well I do not know how soon but we will be getting it.

Really? It already came as I am now watching NBC Sports Extra. What are you waiting for?

I think the OP is referring to Premier League Extra time channels which currently are not available on FIOS. However it seems they are coming soon according to this story.

I have retained DirecTV as my primary carrier solely due to the absence of Extra Time on FiOS. If Verizon would add Extra Time, I would switch. I can't be the only one.
