We had a problem with our old wireless modem a few months ago and so Verizon sent us a new one. Which was a nightmare to set up, but we finally got it in and working.
Except now when we're playing on online MMO, the game will freeze and kick us out because the connection dies. It tells us there's Network Access but no Internet Connection. Disconnecting and reconnecting fix it, but I want to know why it does it and how to make it stop. It's annoying. And it doesn't happen on any other machine, even the older ones we're using. The difference is that while one of us is online playing the game and the other is on the laptop browsing or answering emails, it'll kick whoever's gaming off with the "No Internet Access" while the laptop's fine. I don't even notice a slow down when I'm on the laptop.
I've updated the gaming rig, I've run almost everything I can think of, so I'm looking for advice. How do I solve this? Has this happened to anyone else?
