HD Channels not delivered by verizon while other companies offer them

I have the Spanish programming and I would like to have HD channels which are offered by other companies such as FoxDeportes. Why Verizon doesn't offer them if Fox transmits in HD. Verizon should offer all channels in HD. What is the point of having HD service then?

Couple of reasons:

1) Limited bandwidth to be able to carry all channels

2) Cost - There is a cost when carrying a channel.
