Upgrading DSL from basic to HSI - what will I need to change?

I already have Verizon basic plan DSL. (.5 - 1) I am upgrading to enhanced High speed internet (7.5 - 14). Vz rep said I can use the same modem i already have. Will I need to do any changes on my end or will VZ just increase the bandwidth behind the scenes?

Everything will happen on Verizon's end. The most you would need to do otherwise is reboot your modem if the service is down after the upgrade kicks in.
