Now that I've switched to AOL per Verizon, why am I still getting e-mails from Verizon. Double e-mails now. I thought getting Verizon e-mails was done? How do I stop this?

Why would you think you wouldn't still get emails from Verizon? They just moved where your email is serviced to their AOL subsidary. Not sure why you are getting double.
You can ask Verizon not to send you SOME types of email from them by opting out.
