December channel changes (WGN moving, JUCE TV being removed, GSN HD added)

Check your dvr/stb menu messages.

On or after Dec. 8th WGN (SD) is being relocated to ch. 68 and being removed from the very basic tv packages.

On or after Dec. 31st Juce TV (religious) is being removed from the lineup.

Also, there is no message about it, but GSN HD (ch. 684) is now being added to markets and is available to those who have the tiers that it is included in.

Thank you. Was going crazy with iPad app still indicating WGN was on channel 8. Don't believe there was any notice on the last bill about this change. It ain't what you do, it's the way that you do it...

Chicago's WGN Channel 9 moved from 9 to 68. Seems like kind of a dumb move. Except for this forum, how would people discover this?????????

Verizon moves the good channel to the higher cost packages and doesnt say a thing. sneaky move by a sneaky company.

Periodically check the message center in the stb/dvr menu. They sent a message out about it. Also even if you don't receive paper bills look at the pdf version online as channel changes are usually posted there in advance.

Only other way is to notice it while scroling through the guide.

I really upset about JUCE TV being removed. I was the primary reason I wanted Fios over Optimum. I'm extremely disappointed especially since it was unneccessary.

I enjoy religious channels. But, I am very upset at the sudden loss of JUCE-TV (formerly JCTV). There a number of programs there that I enjoy. These "smaller" channels should not be a big problem for VERIZON. Please return this channel.

There are couple other channels (non-religious) that should be activated in my service as well.

can verizon please add channel 294 to the preferred package. my children love this channel, smile of a child. please , please add to my package, i just switched to verizon from comcast, i was really hoping we'd get this channel
