My name is Beau, Account Number: {edited for privacy}. I signed up for internet service and phone on 11/18/2013. At check-out, I was told that my charge was going to be Residence line 20.48 and High Speed Internet Enhanced 29.99, with a Monthly Charges Subtotal of $50.47. The amount of $50.47 was the only charges that I was made aware of and they are the charges that I assented. My issues arises when I first looked at my bill and saw all of these hidden fees. The main fees that I am concerned with are the following: Change in Service, Residence line (added) 8.19, Service order charge 11.25, Initial order 25.50, High Speed Internet Enhanced (added) 12.00, and Change in Service Subtotal $56.94Under the common law, the acceptance has to match the offer in every detail. I find it very sad that Verizon would try to charge me for all of the additional fees without making sure that I was aware of them. To charge me for these things without telling me is immoral and illegal.

After seeing this, I suspended my service on December 13the. On the bill, it says that I will be charged for the entire month of December even though I only had two weeks of service. If we were only charged for the 13 days we had service in December our bill would be $21.87. This is a fair price, and I will gladly pay for this service. Please change my bill to the appropriate price of $21.87. I can’t afford to pay much more. I recently tried to speak to someone over the phone from Verizon and they said they would remove the false charges, but nothing has been done. Next, I tried to talk to someone through the chat function and was treated a little rude. This made me sad. Now my girlfriend won’t talk to me because of this huge bill either. Please help me get these unfair charges removed from my bill. I am student and cannot afford to be taken advantage of like this.
