I am currently signed up for Verizon high speed internet and looking for fios. On my current plan I have to call on a monthly basis because my speed will drop to unusable speeds. Whenever I call my internet will be better for a week or two and then decline again. Recently I have simply quit calling because it causes no change. I also called about fios about a year ago, the same time I saw the cable being buried across the street for mountain view high school, and was told it would be available in a couple months. Two months later I called and was told to wait 6 months. 6 months later I called and was told that I was too far from some central thing for service, even though the school across the street had it fine. I have since been getting worse and worse service to the point that I have to turn netflix on an hour in advance to watch a movie without buffers. I have performed diagnostics with the tracert command in the command prompt and it shows that verizon servers are the cause of the internet blockups that I seem to experience 24/7. Here is a recent speed test of mine: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3182054153. I would like to know why I am not offered fios at my location when the cable is ten feet from my driveway and why my current service is so horrible on your end.
Thank you,
