DSL down about 6am to 4pm called about 7:30am for DSL support.
Tech Support ran line test and checked outages and said system down not my line.
About an hour later I received an automated call say that if I still had
trouble that a tech would be out the tomorrow between 8am and 5pm.
What the heck. Well quess what I did I called them back and ask
them what is going on they said still system outage.
Went to lunch all stores in my area cash only no DSL.
About 3pm I get another automated call from Verizon, saying that they have detected
a problem with my line and would be out tomorrow between 8am and 5pm and to check for
outages at verizon.com outages. LOL (verizon.com outages hasn't worked
at least 2010 or earlier per DSLreprets.com verizon forum nor today).
There is an outage report but you have to sign into My Verizon for that.
Well I called tech support again again they said that system is down.
Why couldn't the automated call tell the truth
"The system in your area is down. ETA about 5pm next day,
instead of waisting my and verizon tech support time.
The other issues I have with them is
over selling my DSL speed got rated speed for about 1 1/2 years the we
keep lossing speed and random drop outs. Verizon Tech says that my speed is set to high for my distance.
(not here to discuss that)
And Verizon web sites (all of them) keep loosing my user name and password.
