Anyone else get a message that beIN sports is part of the "Sports Pass" tier?

Hello,
The other day, I looked at the Guide menu and I noticed that beIN Sports was listed as a subscribed channel. When I clicked on it, unfortunately, it told me that I was not subscribed and to press the OK button for more information. When I did, I was informed that beIN was part of the Sports Pass and that I could get it for $9.99 a month.

Has anyone else gotten this message? Has anyone heard about the Sports Pass? I currently have the Extreme Tier with the Sports Package, but since I am being told that I am not subscribed to beIN, I am. assuming that the Extreme Sports Package is different from the Sports Pass.

Anyone have any information on this or has anyone heard about this Sports Pass? I am going to contact Fios,but I wanted to see if anyone knew anything about this first. Thanks.

I show that Sports Pass is available to me (Long Beach) as an option on my account, and see the same as you do on the BeIn channel. Interesting, I will probably add this eventually to watch soccer,

In my area bein Sport is also a part of the Ultimate package. So you may want to check that before subscribing to a sports package. Depending on your other interests, the Ulimate package may give you more for your money.

Verizon has indicated that it was going to offer beIN in other ways than having to subscribe to the Ultimate Package. I am wondering if this is that other way? If so, how is it different from the Extreme Sports Package?

I am going to try to call them to see what they tell me.

with ultimate package you get BEin sports channel ,plus cinemax,showtime,movie channel and epix included, I think its about $15.00 more for the ultimate pack than extreme,so if you like sports and movies its well worth it,so instead of paying around $10.00 more for just soccer add $5.00 on top of that and get the permiumn channels i listed above!

forgot to mention that you also get all the sports channels that you get in the extreme package as well!!.

Just spoke with Verizon. There is a $9.99 "Sports Pass" that is an add on. It contains beIN Sports plus some other channels. I don't remember that all, but I do remember Longhorn Sports, Blackbelt, CBS Sports (which I already get), and a few others.

For me, it is an extra $20 a month for Ultimate, so the choice is whether the $10 a month difference, or $120 extra a year, is worth going to Ultimate instead of just getting the Sports Pass.

I wonder when Verizon is going to announce this Sports Pass on its website?

Verizon will not sell me Sports Pass in conjuction with either Prime or Extreme packages. This contradicts their April announcement. Have any annoucments been made of withdrawal of Sports Pass?

I tried getting beIN HD as part of Sports Pass today. Neither doing it from TV, nor internet (even talking to their chat help), and not even calling their customer service helps. Seemingly none of them can add Sports Pass to my channel lineup. I subscribe to Extreme, but I am not willing to pay 20 dollars more per month for Ultimate. Has anyone tried, and been unable to get Sports Pass for unexplainable reasons? Has there been any response from Verizon?
