After 3 years now Verizon is simply unable to get the vendor to supply a good content file for the Korean Package guide. I have opened many ticketrs for this, the latest being {edited for privacy}. You can only "record a series" if the show in the guide in in blue (meaning a series). When a show is miscatorgized as a movie it is in red and a one time event, with no "record a series" option. When a show is miscatorgized as news it is in green and a one time event, with no "record a series" option. And then sometimes in the next update they rename or mispell show, so the recording is missed of course and I have to call in again.
When this happens we cannot record a series for when we are out of town. Now, I thought that is why we bought the DVR and the Korean package. I pay Verizon over $350 a month for ALL my Internet, TV, and ALL my phone needs, including cell phnes (plural). So why I am I paying this and not able to use this feature?

I am sick and tired of calling into support and giving those poor souls a hard time about this issue. It does not get it fixed and it is not fair to them. So who can I talk to about getting this vendor in line and supplying current, ACCURATE, and more timely updates to the guide for the Korean Package? We WANT the package and that is the main reason we are using Verizon FIOS.
Looking through the forums I see the same issue with several of the other International Packages. I was also told that Verizon has not way to edit their own system! If a show is miscatorgized, or misspelled, it should be an easy edit to change something from a movie to a series. I say this as an IT professional myself. Having such a simple thing cause the customer angst is simply ridiculous.
