CSR's are generally clueless about channels. Looks like it's only in the Ultimate package for now. It could be placed in the sports package also, but Verizon will launch it everywhere and wait for things to settle down first, just like they did when beIN Sport was launched.
Apeearing in my Channel lineup as well. I have the Ultimate package but nothing is coming up when I select the channel. Anyone else have any info on this channel? I have been waiting for years.... well since last year when it was suddenly pulled by NBC.
Likewise. The agents know nothing about it, yet there it is in the lineup. Sure hope it finally comes our way ...

Well, It's October and the channel ia not live. Anyone ELSE know when Verizon plans to air the channel again?
where do you live? I think most all of the VHO's have it by now.
It's being rolled out, so it depends on what state you're in. My CST service agent couldn't find it at first either but eventually did and found it had been available in NY since 9/16, as part of Sports Pass, which as an Ultimate HD subscriber I'm automatically subscribed to. He then called me back to tell me how to activate it, which was pretty cool. So I have the channel but when I try looking it up for others, I can't find any proof on the web site that it even exists!
But if you can see the station (Channel 596) and have an option to subscribe & are already subscribed to Sports Pass, you can press the blue button...then call for help if it doesn't work. And the young man told me the Sports Pass package is $9.99 a month if you're not already subscribed.

Thanks...So I was finally able to get them to activate it. I am in Philly and the channel has shown up since 9/16 for me too. I also have the Ultimante package. At first the rep wanted to add the sports pass for 9.99 a month but I appealed and said that I should already have all thoase channels with my plan except the newest one, Universal Sports HD. She talked to here tech guy and they were able to come back and confirm that and activate the channel finally.
Oh, good. My cst agent thought the reason they were making it so hard was to see how many people really wanted it. (re activation)
