I have a Westfall Versalink 327W Gateway router. I have had it forever. I have a Dell 620 Inspiron Desktop with

Windows 7 Premium OS. I think I need an updated router in order to set up WiFi on my IPad/IPhone. Can someone tell me if this is correct. When I try to set up WiFi now, it keeps referring to Windows XP, which I had years ago.

The concepts are the same regardless of what operating system you use0 Wi-Fi is standardized. You will need to choose your network name, and then enter in the password for your Wi-Fi. Use Windows 7's built-in wireless utility. It wouldn't hurt to get a Gateway that supports WPA2 Wireless encryption, though.
