Cancel Verizon Installation

I recently ordered Verizon Internet for my new apartment and I would like to cancel the installation. Verizon already sent me the installation kit but a person hasn't come yet to install the kit. I was wondering if there was any way for me to send back the kit and cancel the appointment. I'm not under any contract.
