My wife recently went to a local Verizon store and inquired about my older mifi jetpack. The sales rep told her that I should not even bother to upgrade since Verizon is "building something" where a jetpack will not be needed. Does anyone know what that is? My older jetpack is not disconnecting frequently. Appreciate any response.

This is very interesting to hear indeed. While we are constanttly striving to bring stronger and better service to our customers, we aren't really trying to eliminate Jetpacks in any way. If the Jetpack is old enough, it may be the fact that the 3G Network is being taken down, but other than that, this is definitely news to me as well. *Matthew
