Yes, there is definitely a way to get your old number back if you move to get the number back within 7 days. Just got my old number back today. I am not sure if Verizon Chat agents were just stalling, hoping I would give up, or if they truly didn’t know how to. They kept telling me the number was not available but I didn’t budge on the fact that Verizon says it will keep your number for 7 days after it’s changed. After literally hours on Verizon Chat, they finally gave me this number 800-307-8327, the guy had to add my old number back into the available number registry. What couldn’t be done in hours via chat was done in a matter of 15 minutes over the phone. Again, this was within the 7 day window. Outside of 7 days, I don’t know.
