I am looking at upgrading to a smartphone and adding a data plan. Does the Unlimited data plan encompass both lines on a family plan or just one? I am asking because I confirmed with customer service @ *611, and now I am planning on using a upgrade discount from one line, then activating the phone on the other line. While going through the process of purchasing the phone I am told that I must add the data package but I don't want the package to be on that line only. Thanks for your help!
