Help with Port Forward IP Camera Verizon 5G Home

I need help setting up Port Forwarding for my IP Security Cameras. I have a LTS Security System with IP Cameras and switched my home Internet from Xfinity to Verizon 5G Home.

With Xfinity I was able to do the following steps to set up Port Forwarding:

Click “Advanced Settings; “Advanced Router”; “Forwarding”

Click “Add_IPv4”

Enter IPv4 address (this address is on DVR Menu): 192.168.0.20

Enter Start Port: 80

Enter End Port: 80

Protocol: Both

Description: Camera

Enable/Disable: Enable

Click “Save”

Click “Add_IPv4”

Enter IPv4 address (this address is on DVR Menu): 192.168.0.20

Enter Start Port: 8000

Enter End Port: 8000

Protocol: Both

Description: Camera

Enable/Disable: Enable

Click “Save”

Click “Add_IPv4”

Enter IPv4 address (this address is on DVR Menu): 192.168.0.20

Enter Start Port: 8554

Enter End Port: 8554

Protocol: Both

Description: Camera

Enable/Disable: Enable

Click “Save”

With the Verizon 5G Home I saw under Advanced Setting the Port Forwarding screen but the entries do aling with what I saw before when I did it with Xfinity.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The trick to port forwarding on the Verizon routers is to ignore the "From" port box. That should be left to "Any" or otherwise left empty, otherwise your port forward won't work.

The "To" box will be what you'll want to populate with the port number you wish to forward. The IP address box will be the IP address of your DVR or device. The protocol drop down should be available still, and that should be chosen based on what your product suggests.

The Xfinity router has a "start port" and "end port" box for specifying a port range. You won't need those here. Simply create three port forward entries with those port numbers.
