Hoping someone can help us solve this issue...my husband (Android user) and I (iPhone user) share a Verizon account. When we traveled to Mexico last year, we started having issues with group messages (and messages between just he and I) where the original message splits into two conversations, with one of them having a +52 in front of my phone number (the iPhone)...I basically get kicked out of any group message he's in, especially when pictures or videos are sent. I know that +52 is the country code for Mexico, and I've tried to adjust settings on my phone as well as his to get this to stop. Needless to say...it's very annoying. It seems as if I'm in group messages that he is NOT included in, it's not an issue and the messaging stays in one place. Any suggestions?
