A Verizon truck was parked fully in my front lawn this afternoon at the time and place where kids usually disembark their school busses. While waiting for my daughter's bus I asked the driver who was just idling and talking on his phone if he could please not park in my lawn and he abruptly told me "I own 10 feet past the utility pole". After the kids got off of the first bus and before the second arrived I returned with a tape measure showing him nearly 20 feet from the pole in two directions and he drove away in a hurry but left significant ruts in the lawn due to heavy rain over the past 48 hours.
