My boyfriend will be away in Italy for two weeks. I want to know if I will be charged if he calls or texts me form his AT&T USA phone. I will not be the one placing the calls. He has an international plan.
You will be billed as if he is in the state as long as he sends the texts and calls you.
Thank you for your inquiry. Adding to what was stated, if you receive international text message and its required by your boyfriend to use an international dialing pattern, you could be charged $0.20 for each text message that was sent from out of the country.
