My sister passed away and had just purchased a phone. We cancelled her account at a Verizon store where they didn't want copies of the estate documents. They made arangements for us to receive a mailing label by which to return the phone to Verizon. The phone was returned within the same week. Verizon keeps billing her estate for the phone we returned. I have called Verizon multiple times and today was the first time I was told that Verizon needs the estate paperwork. I received 2 email addresses to which I sent the documents. However both email addresses bounced the email right back to me. I don't know if they're bogus addresses or if there really is someplace for me to send the estate documents. Where do I send the documents for Verizon's records and how do I get Verizon to stop billing the estate?
