I "Only" have a mobile hotspot on my Verizon account. NO cell phone service. The issue I have is that Verizon started using a "verification code" to access my online account. The hotspots do not have a text function. So I can not receive text. Hence, I can not log in to my online account.
After a conversation with a customer service rep. There is no way I can access my online account anymore. Ever.
There needs to be a secondary email or phone number to send the code to.
The security team at Verizon did not think this issue through when setting up verification codes.
Yes, I have used verification codes before. But most have an email option for use to receive a code.
How can I login to my online account?
