Why does Verizon cloud demand sign in for computer every few minutes?

Whether or not logged into Verizon cloud through verizon.com on my computer, the verizon cloud app continuously requests sign in. Despite sending the 'allow access' link to the mobile phone and approving, the request to sign in just keeps reappearing (very annoyingly).
