I signed up for Fios Home Internet and after a couple of months would be able to redeem an Xbox Elite 2 Controller or a $50 Verizon Gift Card. These offers showed up in my "Pending Offers" until the day I could redeem one. Once that day came, they both disappeared. I have contacted customer service through live chat and the phone. I have been instructed to do a series of things that amount to nothing. I am told to try every browser, use a computer or iPhone or ipad, incognito mode, sign out sign in, change my password, pay my bill that is on Auto-Pay, and try from a different network. When a representative has said "Let me check on this" or "Can I put you on hold while I review" they usually never return. Never reply in the live chat until it goes stale or I am on hold so long the call ends. Or it ends with them saying "it should work", and when I ask what should I do in the event it does not they reassure me it should work. Spoiler: it didn't.
I believe today was my 6th or 7th time going through all of this again with a customer service representative. I was reassured they had access to previous logs and that we would not repeat the mistakes of the past. However, I was instructed to do everything above again. It did not work but they did try to get me to sign up for a more expensive home internet. I wonder what Home Offers it comes with!
