I recently tried to purchase an new phone , plan, and home internet package. Once the order was complete and I had received the delivery confirmation I realized that the shipping address had been entered incorrectly. Once this was realized , I reached back out to customer service for a resolution. They offered two options, either take my chances with UPS figuring out that I it was the wrong address or cancel the order and then reorder, I chose to cancel and place a new order. When reordering I had once again noticed the shipping address had been corrected on the phone, but not the home internet package. I was advised again to cancel the order again as they could not change the delivery address. I was now on the fraud departments list and had to submit additional documentation so they could verify my identification. Once provided, I did not receive any feedback from anyone and my account still showed all these orders in progress. Once again I reached out and was told to resubmit all my documentation again . No feed back again. Long story short, after a few more back and forth’s, I was told I was high risk and fraudulent…
All this stemmed from the sales department recommendations to cancel the order and reorder so they could correct their mistake. Is there any recourse or option I can reach out to for review of this case? I am a long time Verizon user and would like to continue with them if at all possible.
