I accepted the cyber Monday deal which I was suppose to get an email to accept an xbox series s and choose between a $200 amazon gift card or an echo dot but never got the email for either.
I have both chatted with someone online and talked to an agent on the phone to verify that I would receive this deal. Both told me I would be receiving the information.
I currently have internet through Spectrum at 500 speed and was hoping for a minimum of 300 since we never get near that with them. This promotion got me to try something new but after hooking it up, I am only showing 150-165 mbps. Time will tell whether it is worth keeping especially if the deals aren't even real.
I am also wondering about the cyber Monday deal because I did the same. One email says my offer should come today via email and when I scroll down, Verizon has put a disclaimer that they reserve the right to limit promotional quantities.
I am also having this issue. Cyber Monday convinced me to give this service a try. I’m not happy with the lack of communication when it relates to $450 worth of promotions.

Has anyone found there is a particular departments we need to talk to in order to make this right?
The offer said it was one or the other for me, not both. I had to choose the Xbox from a selection screen when I was signing up. If you find your order confirmation email and scroll to the bottom, it will say what you picked under "Special Offers Included:"
The Xbox was also included, I just went back and looked. I did get a hold of a Verizon specialist this morning that said that they had issues with getting that promotion going. Verizon expect it to be up and going by December 13th.
Great, I received the gift card but not the Xbox yet.
Wow same thing here. Thought I was alone. Customer service is terribleeeeee. I’ve had optimum for like 12 years and. I issue. I literally only switched for the gift card and Xbox. And after five days now back and forth I feel like it was all a front. I get a different answer everytime.
first person said I’d get an email with how to redeem immediately…never got it. I wait a few days…second person says Verizon isn’t releasing the redemptions until Dec 2nd and it’ll be in the app under rewards…. Never got it.
so today I ask where it’s at… after customer service just says thank you 42 times and ask how my day is 36 times. They end chat with me 2 times! Finally another person says I have to have my service for 65 days before they give me the redemption… I ask why did she say that but two others said something else? And she ended chat and left… I feel like I’m gonna have to make a drive and go in person..
They told me the same .. to wait 60 days. But my offer for both the Xbox and $200 Amazon gift says it's void 60 days after activation.... Which means that when you call in 60 days, "there's nothing we can do, so sorry"

If you could help with the promotion than everyone that signed up on cyber Monday should have received an email regarding your glitch after you were notified within the 48 hours instead of customers feeling as though it wasn’t going to happen. Terrible way to handle things as a new Verizon customer. There should be another perk with all the lying to customers service representatives have done in addition to us receiving the Xbox. 🤷

I had the same issue I got the service just because of the gift card & Xbox and had them install and activate my service on the 2nd and was able to redeem the gift card but for some reason I haven’t gotten any info in the Xbox the customer service guy said I have to wait 60 days after activation to get the Xbox, but I think that’s incorrect because it says I have 60 days to activate offer so which is it!
I have since been able to claim my gift card but was told I have to hold my service for 30 days before I’m able to claim my xbox series S.
According to the person that I spoke to early in the morning, there was an error and other words are glitch when the promotion went out, and the Xbox was not included. Verizon was notified about it. 48 hours after it happened and the department of promotions has been trying to correct the offer And get the Xbox out but from my knowledge it won’t be available until December 14th. It’s just a waiting game to see if they’re going to follow through with what they said the promotions were on cyber Monday.

Yeah, I've been trying to be patient but it certainly feels sketchy. I did get the email saying "Lucky you, because it's Cyber Monday your order also qualifies you for an Xbox Series S, on us. Once your service is activated, we’ll send you an email with instructions on how to redeem your offer, as soon as December 1, 2023." and have since received one for the gift card/echo part, but nothing about the Xbox... which, of course, is the one I actually wanted.
Anyone have any luck getting this straightened out, other than the one prior post?
The Verizon social media team contacted me today to get it worked out. Using the Verizon community was the best method for me. They will take care of it quickly.
Yes using the Verizon community team that’s available to help. You was also the best method for me. The Xbox should be here in two days so I would continue to write in the community until someone gets a hold of you from Verizon.

Any word on the Cyber Monday deal? I received the email to claim the $200 Amazon gift card the next day. I still haven’t received any communication in regards to how I claim the Xbox series S. I’ve tried chatting with support with absolutely NO HELP! Very disappointed about this. I have been a loyal Verizon customer for several years. Putting a very bad taste in my mouth.
The community moderators/social media team will reach out to resolve it. They had my Xbox order completed in just a few minutes. My order has already shipped and will be here in two days. Make sure you reply as soon as you get a private message from them.
I was told to hold off till the 13th to see if they fix the claim tile and if it doesn't show after that then they will have to find alternative ways to accept it.
@vzw_customer_support I've had a similar experience. I activated service, got the Amazon promo emails and promo in the app, but heard nothing on the xbox. Was just wondering what else I needed to do?

We're sorry about the issues you're having with your Amazon gift card redemption. There's a known issue with the redemption of those Amazon gift cards and Xbox's that's being worked on. There's a planned fix coming on 12/13/23 and after that you'll be able to redeem. Please keep checking your Verizon app and website after that date so you can redeem. ~Jesse
I need help also. I signed up just like everyone else on Cyber Monday for an Xbox and either a $200 Amazon gift card or an Echo. I received my gateway and a few days later my extender, cancelled Spectrum who Id been with 6 years and in between there the ability to claim the Amazon gift card showed up. Then not a word about the Xbox. The email that was sent after the gateway says,"as early as December 1st***" it's now the 6th and I've received nothing else about it. This was going to be my Grand daughters Xmas gift.
This is unfair.. they are helping out other customers before others.. some are getting helped and getting their systems in 2 days and they are making us wait till the 13th.. I didn’t even wanna wait till the 1st what makes you think I wanna wait till the 13th? Prioritizing other customers before others.. there’s no point in reaching out they are just gonna copy and paste a response to you guys..
Same problem here. Was notified of the deal through my email on Cyber monday. Purchased the equipment and installed last wednesday. Talked to the store today and they said there was nothing that they could do, but to contact customer service. Contacted customer service and was transferred to the Rebates team where the Verizon employee argued with me for over 10 minutes and was not helpful at all. Help verizon! Have been a verizon wireless customer for more than 10 years!
Same experience here... being told to wait 62 days by one person and a other told me 60 at first then changed it to 30 days wait. I like the wifi so far, but getting the runaround like this makes me think I'm adding my extra phone lines for my wife and kids with another company.

UPDATE: so what I suggest anyone that hasn’t gotten their Xbox yet is go into the version app and find the “chat with us” tab under contract us, ask to speak to an agent and tell them you got the cyber Monday deal but haven’t heard anything about your Xbox and they’ll get it ordered for you! Took about 15 min mine will be here in 2 days MERRY CHRISTMAS
I just sat in a chat with an agent named Aubrey who had no idea what I was talking about. She couldn't find anything about the Xbox thanked me for being so patient and then disappeared.
Update she got back to me and said that all Xbox issues will be handled by the 13th showing up as a tile in the app to claim.
@Jojotheshow you got lucky. I’ve done that same thing every day since the 30th. I get a different answer every time. I don’t get how they have so many different responses and yet some of them can get hr Xbox for you… makes no sense.

To redeem, please Sign in to your My Verizon (online or app). Navigate to the My Verizon account page. Click on Get your choice on us: Amazon Echo Show 10 (3rd Generation) or $200 Amazon.com Gift Card redemption tile under Make the Most of Your Plans. From there, make your choice between the Amazon Echo Show or the $200.00 Amazon Gift Card and proceed with the redemption steps. There is a known issue where some customers are having problems redeeming or don't see a tile. A planned fix is coming on 12/13/2023 and you'll be able to redeem then.

I am also facing the same problem, and talking to the agents on the phone and the chat is useless, the most pathetic customer experience ever. I had ordered the new Fios service and got the Xbox but never heard back regarding the amazon gift card, whereas while purchasing it was clearly mentioned on the website.

I did the same thing and the guy came and did the installation two days later still no gift card or email so I went looking around my account online and found my HOME OFFERS. Redeemed the gift cards and the Xbox one for the Xbox it took my to another page where it was like going over my shipping address and such and it gave me a break down of how much it would be if I bought it and it was crossed off with no tax or nothing so yeah free ...then they asked to approve it I hit the button and it told me Verizon would email me me when it's shipped well that was about 5 days ago. today i woke up to an email saying it was shipped with the tracking number from UPS it was shipped and so I tacked it the driver is in my town with it doing other drop offs so it says it will arrive at my door at 9 pm so for me it happened pretty fast we got ours installed on December 5th and I should have my Xbox tonight ....I hope everything works out for everybody and ha e a happy holiday ☺️

The good news is that our specialized team is aware of this situation. Everything will run smoothly starting on December 13th. At that point you should receive an email notification to redeem the offer. If you already received the email, but you're not seeing the offer tile on your My Verizon application or our website, this should appear on the 13th. I’m not sure if I received the similar promotion but I also had been waiting the 60 days to redeem the promotion. I confirmed with two different customer service reps that I was eligible. So today I went in the chat , was there for an hour just for the CSA to say that the account notes are not specific to what promotion I am eligible for, therefore I am not getting anything. I was LIVID! The customer service is horrible and it just seems like it was all a ploy to get me to give them even more money. I hope you were able to get this resolved.
