Decided to go back to Verizon wireless from xfinity mobile (which I will be staying with at this point…their level of customer service is well worth the extra price, so I’ve learned) so I ordered a prepaid plan through Verizon. I opted to keep my old phone number I have had for 20 years. Verizon charged me for $50 for prepaid plan and sent me a SIM card. I tried for 3 days to activate the SIM card,…tried contacting customer service via phone and chat feature … multiple times I got disconnected or couldn’t get through because it kept saying I wasn’t a customer… however they took my money but can’t provide services!! I am currently on hold with someone for a refund since they can’t seem to stop telling me my number is deactivated from before… don’t really care at this point what the reasons are for why they can’t activate what I paid for… I just want a refund. The rep I am speaking with now asked if I would be willing to take HALF refund???? Are you kidding me? Why would I pay anything for nothing???? Ridiculous. Absolute NIGHTMARE!!! 3 days of hours trying to get to a live person and now over 2 hours on phone with someone who can’t give me my $50 refund!!! Now they are telling me they need to look into it with another dept and they’ll get back to me in 7-10 days!!!!! Unacceptable!! Just refund me my money so I can continue with my old carrier. This experience is by far the worst ever. Rep could not connect me to supervisor or even confirm I will be getting a refund. Call ended and no resolution!!!!!! I will be sharing this with every review site and BBB. No human being should have to go through this!!
