Recently I contacted Verizon about trees and shrubs growing on the line servicing my home. The rep told me they do not send people out to cut/trim foliage. In meantime, the foliage is growing out of control on all the lines in my area and creeping across the line to my home. They told me to contact my local county, state, utility to resolve this issue. I have contacted all the agencies and they all say it is not their problem, and that Verizon is responsible for keeping their lines clear of growth. But Verizon keeps saying they do not send people out to trim things back. What gives? No one wants to take responsibility for anything. So if it is Verizon phone/Fios lines why aren't they responsible? After all, they are the ones who installed them. So frustrating. Maybe I should contact my local TV station and get them involved.
