Cost discrepancy

I just switched to "Unlimited Welcome" Plan because it was advertised as $34 a line with out autopay. This is $13 cheaper than the GoUnlimited that I was paying for. After I switched, I looked at my bill and it says $40 for the plan and thats not including the taxes and surcharges. This is the reason I'm getting closer and closer to leaving verizon. you cant just get a straight answer, and it never works out how you expect. Very curious of the "Logic" behind this. If you had some kind of discounts such as job related discount or loyalty discount with the legacy plan, those do not carry over when you change to a current plan. Loyalty discount may kick back in if you stick with the current plan long enough; not sure how it is now since the autopay and loyalty discount perks were modified some time ago.

I appreciate the response.

My issue is that the advertising is not clear and I would almost argue very close to "false advertising". I'm sure there is a way to get it down to $34 a line, but they don't specify that when your perusing for a new cheaper plan.

So do you have a break down of pricing per how many lines? I’m assuming the $34 is with 4 lines?

If you go to the Verizon website, then the Mobile section, scroll down until you see a button called "Check out pricing and plan features". In there, it will display the pricing for the assorted plans for anything between 1-4 lines. I am guessing if you have more than 4 lines then you'd be paying the 4-line price per line.

I found that and that says $30 a line hahaha even cheaper. Yes 4 lines. I will say that only 2 are on the current unlimited welcome and 2 on an old plan. I’m guessing this is the “problem”
