My TV continually freezes, especially on the upper channels, my guide often doesn't work, I can't access my DVR shows.

Can a quick summary of what has been already tried be listed? I have a thought, but I don't want to make the suggestion if it has already been done.

Like dexman said, details are important for us to help you. It could be an equipment or wiring failure, but without knowing what you have done, we can't help.
