Hello, I recently went to America for the first time. Maine, where I had bought this phone. I live in nb Canada, and I have 0 clue what to do at the moment. I can’t use my SIM card, and I tried using the pre payed service SIM card that came with this phone. I was having some troubles with my Apple ID, and went to costumer support but I need a number to do it. And all that led me here, and I need help with this phone. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but you've been taken advantage of. A Verizon phone will not work outside the US unless it's unlocked, and the only way to unlock a Verizon phone is to use it on Verizon's network for at least 60 days. With Verizon only being in the US, it can't be done.

If you bought the phone at a store, try to get a refund. If, however, you bought it from a person, this is a common sc*m used by criminals to dispose of stolen phones where they sell them to people outside of the US.
