Around 2022, a Fios underground installation was completed in our 1970s neighborhood, and the old underground copper landlines were evidently abandoned. We have at the front corner of our property an approximately 9"x6"x29"- tall green post/pedestal (see photo). When a neighbor had a power issue this year, 811 came out and marked all energized lines on both our property and his - there were no markings near the post.
We would like the unused post to be removed, if possible. If Verizon doesn't mind, we are willing to carefully remove it ourselves. If not, please let us know when you can remove it. Thank you.
