I have an Apple iPhone 14 Max Pro with Verizon. When indoors, cannot make or receive any calls that aren’t garbled, breaking up or dropping. Have to walk around outside trying to get a good signal. Occasionally, but not very often, I can hear the conversation but it’s a hit and miss. Our Verizon monthly bill is about $300.00 and I am sick of paying for this type of signal. I am wondering if there is any type of booster available that would help. Hopefully, we won’t need to reach out for any emergency services because we would be out of luck.. We live about 2 miles from the town and until a few months ago, got a decent signal. Thinking maybe Verizon no longer have a signal tower near us.

Considering how you used to have OK service until just a few months ago, perhaps network upgrades have changed things to where either your account needs to be reprovisioned, or you may need a new SIM or eSIM which is compatible with all the current network technology. Have you checked to see if all your phone's software is up to date? You might also want to check your iPhone's network settings to make sure it isn't stuck on something which only uses 5G, because if 5G isn't that great where you are, then your phone will be struggling and won't use LTE.

There are signal boosters which would amplify a weak cellular signal so that it is usable, but such systems are expensive and you'd need to make sure whatever booster you buy is compatible with Verizon. Something else to try is using WiFi at home for calls, etc.
