I had a total loss house fire in 10/24. I called to cancel the $35 per month WiFi service I was using and advised I wouldn’t be able to return the box/equipment because it was melted in the fire. I have since been receiving emails from Verizon telling me that I am responsible for returning the equipment. I have called each time and explained that there is no equipment to return. The agents each tell me they have taken care of it and I keep getting emails saying I will have to pay $200 for the equipment if I don’t return it. I have been a loyal customer of Verizon for 28 years. So much for attempting to keep me as a loyal customer.
