Data plan for ipad

I recently purchased an iPad with 3G for Verizon. The credit card that I purchased my data plan with is about to expire. Will I be able to change credit card numbers on the account without being charged twice for one month?

Please clarify are you trying to change the credit card information in itunes? Or are you having a problem with your credit card information that is tied into 3G data. That may be changed by logging into my Verizon on www.verizonwireless.com Once you remove the old credit card information it should bill the new credit card.
