Dear Verizon Service Team,
This is an endeavor to reach out to the concerned team that would help with some quick actions on settling the expenses incurred on account of a Verizon undergound cable drilling right through our sewage line in our front lawn.
We have been sent from pillar to post across different call numbers just to hear a different story and a different direction on each call. A ticket number was raised on 11th March, 2025 with reference ***** and was committed to have an inspection done the same day which never happened. Upon a follow up on 14th March, 2025, the agent mentioned they would have a team come in on 17th March, 2025 and that didn't happen as well.
Please note that the utilities companies were called in when the repairs were carried out and PSEG came in and confirmed it was not their cable. They helped wipe the cable once it was confirmed it was not a PSEG electric cable and it turned out to be an orange with black stripe cable.
Here are the pictures of the damage inflicted.

we had the dug out portion of the front lawn kept open for a possible inspection and its been almost 2 weeks since the dig-out and no response has been forthcoming from Verizon.
Request any of the other fellow members to post the possible next steps or for the Verizon support teams to drop a response. I would also like to understand if Verizon has legal rights to drill an underground cable on a property without due consent from the owners.
Thanks,
