Hello, I'm planning to travel to Korea in a week and have some questions. I heard phones are unlocked after 60 days does this mean any of our verizon phones will work with Korea sim cards?
Yes, a Verizon device which has been used on Verizon continuously for 60 days should automatically unlock itself after that period of time, and you would then be able to use other carrier SIM cards. However, I've read of instances where this doesn't happen. Usually the causes are 1) you are not the original owner of the device or 2) you bought the device from somewhere other than Verizon.
Yes, our devices are unlocked after being active for 60 days. Phones will work with an international sim as long as the service is compatiable. -Sara
