I orederd a phone from a verizon store and realized they weren't giving me the same discounts that I would have gotten if I'd ordered online. I called the next day to say I didn't want the phone and the manager told me I could come in and get my refund. She called back later the same day and said her district manager told her I can't have a refund, she'll give me $100 off the phone instead. I'm waiting for a call from the district manager. Today will be the 5th day since placing the order. All online information plus that on the bottom of my first bill say I have 30 days to return. I haven't even seen this phone, opened the box, or created an account. I want my sales tax back, but they are saying I can't get a refund. I have to keep the phone. I would be a new customer for Verizon and this is not inspiring confidence in my choice to go with them. I haven't even started with them and I hate this company already. I do not want to hate a phone I hate every time I look at it because Verizon was shady. What I wanted was to cancel this phone and order it online, but now its turned into a fiasco and I want nothing to do with Verizon. Monica in MIchigan is doing a disservice to Verizon.
