Greetings Fellow Community Members,
Over the last 6-years there has been a population explosion on Johns Island, SC. (Zip Code 29455). There appears to be a direct correlation between the growth in population and the reduction in the strength of the cell signal most of us are receiving. It is now at the point during peak (rush hour and lunch times) that we often get one or no bars, and that we cannot receive or make calls.
If you reside in 29455, or any other area that has experienced a similar problem, what best practices have you used to resolve it (if at all). I was just in NYC where the population density is so much greater and I enjoyed full 5 bar signals.
Verizon reps - are you aware of this problem? If so, are you going to be proving a solution?
Note: We cannot use outside antennas, and our apartment building only allows Xfinity WiFi.
Thanks in advance of any ideas/feedback.
