It's great the forums are up and running again!

However, I miss the following:

Notifications on new comments/replies to threads I've participated in.

Things which are completely gone now?

-Photo gallery in one's forum account (I had to go back and screenshot some content and save it elsewhere to keep it)

-Avatars for anyone who doesn't upload their own?

-Forum ranks (everyone is now a newbie again? ☹️)

-Community Leader Program

Stuff which seems messed up:

-Leaderboard

-PMs (yes, I know this is a work in progress, but all my PMs from my entire history on the legacy forums came back in my inbox, and I had to delete an enormous pile of PMs which I had "deleted" in the old forums…just a reminder, everyone, the internet is forever!)

I had put up a comment here, but don't know what happened to it…seems to be glitched out?

To answer the questions in the original post though:

I'd like to see more announcements about any further forum updates. Announcements about promotions available on Verizon would be nice.
Something I really miss about the legacy platform, which no longer seems to be here in the new forums, are the notifications I used to get whenever someone responded to a thread I'd participated in.

Other things which seem to be gone?

-Avatars are all messed up for those who didn't upload a custom avatar.

-Community Leader program

-We're all newbies again with the new forums? ☹️

Hey there! Thanks for your feedback. You should still get notifications when someone responds to a thread that you commented on or posted. Please check your notifications settings, We are also working on fixing the avatars. Thanks

Thanks for the input @Albrean_VZ . The notifications are sort of working now, but I am not getting them for every thread I've participated in. I've got most of the notifications turned on.

It's too bad we're all newbies again, with the exception of a few users who were legacy Community Leaders in the old platform. Their profiles show assorted extra privileges related to their CL status, but anyone else is now a newbie again, although they have a legacy badge showing what rank they attained in the old forums…

Had the same PM issue happened to me as well. I had an empty inbox and then when I sent my first PM, I immediately received a flux of old messages as unread. There was no option to mass delete them (as described in the Community FAQs) that I could find. So, I had to go one by one and "Leave Conversation" which was giving me an indefinite loading pop-up window. Ended up having to close that out and reopen each conversation then right click the button and open in new tab for it to work. Also, had an issue with initially logging into this new platform as the password reset emails were very delayed and by the time I saw them, the link token was already expired. Fortunately, the next day it was working normally and was able to get it in.
