Droid X calendar app changes appointment times

Question

Is there a way to prevent the calendar from changing appointment time entries as you change time zones?  I entered fright times for a recent trip to Boston while sitting in Oshkosh (CDT).  When I arrived in Boston the calendar changed my 5:00 PM return flight time to 6:00 PM.  The 9:30 AM appointment time in Oshkosh was changed to 10:30 AM while in Boston and then back to 9:30 AM when I was back in CDT zone.  I'd really rather not have to calculate time zone differences every time I make a calendar entry or calculate the differences when adding appointments back home while on the road.

There is another post on this somewhere. You just have to set it ahead or behind however many hours the timezone is. Or perhaps you could search for a calendar app that will do this automatically, I'm not sure if one even exists.
