Transferring phone # to Skype?

How can you move a Verizon wireless phone # to Skype? My son is moving out of the country for 2 years.

As Skype numbers are only available from a range pre-selected by Skype, it isn't possible to port your existing Verizon Wireless number to Skype.

Never thought of that, I would check their FAQ sectionif they allow call forwarding considering port out would cancel any contract you son has :smileyhappy:

I think you can port a number to Google Voice. You might need to research the details though. I remember reading that it was possible.
