dropped calls

I have been a verizon wireless customer for many years unlimited plan in SE Florida..  I get service where no one else does and it has been well worth the extra 20 or  $30 a month.

 

The past month I have gotten more dropped calls and no service or lines busy  then I have the past 5 years.  The service along A1A in Hollywood down to Bal Harbour is an abortion.

 

I blame it all on the extra bandwith of 4g or the taking of towers to support the 4G network.

 

In a couple of months I will be upgrading to 4G but see no benifit of Verizon if my phone service does not improve.

 

 Are other areas having this problem or is it just along the beach?

Have you called tech support so they can check the tower you are having an issue with??  800-922-0204 Option 3 in the Menu tree. But you must call from another phone. Preferably the area where you are having the issue with.

 

 

It would not be bandwidth, but I have heard rumblings to install 4G equipment, some towers lose a 3G antenna. But I would not expect to see an antenna removed thats services a major highway. Installation of equipment may also necessitate shutting down some antennas or towers temporarily.
