Data Plans

I am getting a new phone: Samsung Reality.  Which I signed up for a 75 MB data plan per month.  I am completely new to this.  Can anyone explain these data plans to me & exactly what my plan includes? What am I able to access?  How do I measure/track usage? I have searched the website for more details without results. I would appreciate any assistance. Thanks in advance.

The 75MB plan includes 75MB of data usage on your phone.  Things that use data include browsing the web, checking your e-mail, downloading files like songs, pictures, and videos, using apps that access Facebook, MySpace, or other web services.  Basically, anything you need the internet to do uses data.

 

75MB will probably be plenty of allowance on the Reality unless you are downloading a large number of apps and files like songs and videos.  You can track your usage through MyVerizon online, or by dialing #DATA from your phone.
